Your First Purchase
Placing an order on Mitchell’s Plumbing is an easy process. When you find a product that is right for you, add it to your shopping cart by clicking the "add to cart" button. This will place your item in your shopping cart, and you will be able to purchase it at Checkout.
To Checkout and purchase all (or some) of the items in your shopping cart, click the “View Cart” link found at the top of any MitchellsPlumbing.com web page.
What to expect on your first purchase, simply follow these steps:
Step 1: Shopping Cart
This is your Order Summary. Review the items in your shopping cart. If you would like to add more items before placing your order, hit the “continue shopping” button to continue shopping.
If you would like to adjust the quantity of an item, enter the new quantity into the “quantity” box next to the item you want to update, then hit the “update cart” button.
If you would like to place your order, hit the “continue checkout” button to proceed to Step 2
Step 2: Checkout/Sign In
For registered Mitchell’s Plumbing shoppers, sign in with your email address and the password you chose when you registered and proceed to place your order.
For those users who haven’t registered or placed an order previously, click on the "Register” button.
Step 3: Account Information
For those users who haven’t registered, please fill in your Account Information and provide Billing/Shipping Information with a valid credit card number (if paying by credit card). Click the “continue checkout” button.
Step 4: Order Confirmation
Review the summary of your order along with your account information to ensure everything is correct. Edit any information that is incorrect. Then hit the "complete order" button to place your order.
The screen that follows will provide your confirmation number. Please save it for future reference. You will also receive an email receipt at the email address you provided during checkout.

This service is offered at no charge to the customer. We will complete an extended search of the item submitted. It is preferred that at least two photos to be attached for identification purposes. We strive to be prompt and professional in responding to your communication.

Product Price, Description, & Color Accuracy
While we take measures to ensure that the web site reflects accurate product information and pricing, sometimes an error can appear on the site. We are not responsible for misrepresentations or errors found on the site.
Change/ Cancel Open Order
If your order has not been shipped yet, you may change or cancel your order at anytime. Once it has been shipped, you will be subject to a 25% restocking fee for any items that are not defective or damaged during shipping. Special or custom orders may only be cancelled within the first 24 hours of placing the order. No returns or exchanges are allowed on special or custom orders beyond the first 24 hours of placing your order.
In some cases a custom, special order item may be non-returnable and/or non-cancelable.
All products are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty as well as any other warranty required by law. For additional warranty information, please call Customer Service at 800-600-1525.
Out of stock orders
Should an item be out of stock we will ship/ deliver the portion of the order that is completed. Out of stock items for local delivery orders will be followed up via telephone notification. Remaining order will be processed and shipped/ delivered. The remaining portion will be mailed/ delivered as soon as the stock is replenished. Incomplete portion will be shipped/ delivered at no charge to the customer.
Items sold as Sale/ Clearance are sold as is. All sales are final. These items are not eligible for replacement/ refund.
Payment & Checkout
For your convenience, Mitchell’s Plumbing accepts American Express, Visa, and MasterCard. We also accept money orders, personal/ business checks. Check must be pre-printed with the name, address, check number, bank name and account number. We do not accept Non-US issued credit cards, money orders, checks or currency. Please contact us at 800-600-1525 for information about paying by check.
You can register and then proceed to complete order and checkout. If you choose not to register you may proceed to complete your checkout without having to register.
Check/ Money Order
Orders paid via check/ money order: Order will not ship until after your payment has been received and processed. Process normally takes between 7-10 business days from the date payment is received. Cashiers checks are subject to the same process. Returned checks will be subject to the maximum returned check fee allowed by law.
We do not collect sales tax on items purchased on MitchellsPlumbing.com, except for shipping/ deliveries within California. California’s 8.25% state sales tax is calculated during checkout.
Returns & Exchanges
There is a 25% restocking fee on merchandise returned/exchanged for any reason other than a product defect or damage.
Please inspect your package immediately upon receipt for shipping damages. You must notify us within three (3) days of receipt of any shipping damages. We cannot take responsibility for shipping damages beyond this point.
You must call us for a Return Authorization number (RA#) by calling toll free our Customer Service at 800-600-1525. Please make sure you write this number on the outside of the box you send back to us. Returns without RA # will be refused.
Returns/Exchanges will not be accepted after 30 days from when you receive your shipment.
ITEMS MUST BE RETURNED IN THEIR ORIGINAL PACKAGING AS SHIPPED BY MITCHELLSPLUMBING.COM. ANY ITEMS RETURNED IN PACKAGING OTHER THAN THE ORIGINAL PACKAGING WILL BE REFUSED.
However, we can not accept returns for items damaged in transit where that damage is not reported to us within 3 days of a customer accepting that shipment. Damages must be reported immediately.
All refunds will be processed/ issued through the same method received. Upon receiving the return at our facility, please allow seven (7) to fourteen (14) business days for processing.
Should a customer send back a non-returnable item; no credit will be issued for the return of the product. The customer will be responsible for shipping charges going back to the customer.
Products returned as defective which are found not to be defective are subject to a 20% handling fee.

Merchandise must be returned in received condition. Defective items will not be replaced if there are signs of tampering. No refunds/exchanges if item has been used/ worn.
Shipping & Delivery
Buyer is responsible for all applicable shipping and insurance fees.
Our apologies, we do not ship to P.O. Box or APO/ FPO addresses.
Purchases with a total amount of one hundred dollars ($100.00) or more require the purchase of shipping insurance equal to the value of the total purchase amount.
We are not responsible for damage caused during shipping/invisible damage caused by the package being mishandled.
Local Delivery Service
The service requires you to register with us and create an account. Upon doing so you can be eligible to have your orders delivered within the delivery area, as indicated on the map on the Local Delivery Service page. Your account can be charged via business billing/ credit card/ payment on delivery. Orders submitted and paid by 2:00 pm will be delivered the next business day between 9:00am-4:00pm. Orders scheduled after 2:00pm will be scheduled for delivery on the second business day. Geographical scheduling may apply. Service not available Saturday or Sunday. Professional orders will be given professional priority.
• Minimum of $25.00 order amount.
• Orders must be submitted and paid by 2:00 pm.
Note: Some items may not qualify for delivery. Delivery restrictions will be noted on such items.
We ship via UPS/ FedEx Ground Service. Other shipping methods are available upon request, subject to applicable fees. For AK, HI and PR shipping rates, please e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org
At this time we do not offer International shipping.
All of our items are eligible for local pick up at our retail store. Notification of local pick up required at payment.
Large items will be sent via freight service. Buyer is responsible for all freight and related fees. Freight arrangements are to be completed by the buyer.
We will combine shipping on multiple purchases delivered to the same address. Please email us at the end of your purchases for a final shipping price. The shipping rate is based on the weight, dimensions and the delivery zip code.

Tracking an Order
You will receive an email notification with shipper and tracking information once your order is shipped.

Product Delivery Inspections
We hope that your order arrives safely and that you are satisfied with your purchase. However, please remember that when the order arrives it is your responsibility to ensure that the product has not been damaged during shipping. Please follow the guidelines below for inspection of your package(s):
For items shipped via freight carrier;
Inspect the box for external damage, remove the packaging and inspect the contents for any physical damage in the presence of the delivery driver. If there is any damage, visible or not, you must indicate such on the delivery receipt. When you sign the delivery ticket and do not note any damage, the merchandise becomes your property. We are not responsible for damage caused during shipping/invisible damage caused by the package being mishandled.
For items shipped via UPS;
If there is any damage, visible or not, you have 3 days to contact us to report the damage. If you do not contact us within 3 days, the merchandise becomes your property.
Please take the time to inspect your delivery and if there is any damage be sure to note it on the delivery ticket. If the damage is severe enough to render the product inoperable or unusable, please refuse the shipment and contact us immediately at 800.600.1525.
